One of the latest trends in indoor ceramics, particularly interesting for its aesthetic and material implications is the micromosaic, that is mosaics with tiles smaller than one centimeter on each side. These tiles vary in shape & color. The most common applications are for bathroom and spa floors, kitchen and bathroom floors and walls or bathtubs, showers and ornamental fountains. The panels are also very flexible and allow you to easily cover curved or undercut surfaces such as showers, sinks or swimming pool edges.
The micromosaics with square tiles are inspired by the common tiles and wall coverings, but with a clearly marked leap in scale: the wall seems to shrink, illusory dilating the dimensions of the space.
